Our Cows: We specialize in Red Devon cows and are breeding in heat tolerance with some other breeds. Red Devons are an ancient breed of cattle from southern England’s Devon County, prized for its docility and tender gourmet beef. They are hardy, thrifty cattle that do well on grass, without grain supplements. Our cattle are raised in Randolph County without any hormones or antibiotics, resulting in unsurpassed taste and tenderness.
Processing: We are lucky enough to live in a region where there are several smaller quality USDA or NC State certified processors. Our animals are processed per our direction and each cut comes labeled and individually vacuum packed and frozen.
Delivery: We may have what you want in stock or we can let you know timing of availability. Depending on your location we may be able to deliver, meet you, or you can pick it up at the farm.

WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
OUR PASTURED PORK
Our pigs grow in our woods letting the pigs be pigs. They root, wallow, and run around. Their feed consists of non-GMO grains grown in North Carolina. In addition, their paddocks in the woods provides them forbs, grass, and legumes that grow in our woods. We believe healthy soils will make healthy pigs that will make healthy pork. Our pork is raised without added growth hormones or antibiotics. Our pastures and woods are maintained without herbicides or pesticides. Help support local, regenerative and sustainable farming in the Piedmont of North Carolina.
