OUR PROMISE
"Food You Can Trust"
Raised Humanely on Pesticide Free Pasture
No Hormones, Antibiotics or GMOs
"Grass-fed" Means NO Grains... EVER!
Committed to Regenerative Soil Practices
No Drugs/Just Grass
It's true, you are what you eat, and everything it has eaten. We raise our cows as natural as possible without hormones, pesticides, grains, GMO's, and most importantly, with all the nutrition they need. So you get highly nutrient dense foods for your healthy body & nothing else.
Humanely Raised
People that come to our farm often comment on how happy our cows look. We try to raise them in concert with nature as much as possible. Living and moving around outdoors, eating what they are designed to eat, with their health and happiness in mind. Just like we keep your health and happiness in mind.
Sustainable
We practice regenerative farming practices with our main goal to renew the health of the land. To have it thrive not just survive. we manage the land with the whole in mind and make decisions accordingly for our family as well as yours.
Transparent
We believe knowing where your food comes from is important and building a trusting relationship with our customers. We invite you to visit our farm, meet our people and get to know our values about food and the land.
Healthier, More Nutritious
Grass-fed vs grain fed products are significantly higher in nutrients and minerals, including beta-carotene, vitamin E, vitamin D, B vitamins, calcium, magnesium, and potassium. Grass fed beef also contains 2 - 4X more Omega-3s and 5x more CLA and is lower in fat and cholesterol.
Carbon Credit Farming
We are actually grass farmers. Growing as much grass, forest, and plants at the highest quality we can. This involves making sure the soil is healthy & abundant with microbial life. We grow acres upon acres of carbon sequestering greenery. Our cows then manicure it for us and you get healthy, nutrient dense, beef.
ORDER NOW
Bulk Beef: A great cost effective way to have nutritious beef available is to purchase by whole or half animal quantities. A deposit is required prior to processing the animal for your order
Our Cows: We started with Red Devon cattle crossed with other English breeds. We have brought in more heat tolerance to the herd by adding South Poll genetics. South Polls were developed in Alabama to flourish in the heat of the summer in the South. Our Red Devon, South Poll, and others (Angus and Senepol) cross cattle are thriving in our grass fed-only program. Our cattle are raised in Randolph County without any hormones or antibiotics, resulting in unsurpassed taste and tenderness.
Processing: We are lucky enough to live in a region where there are several smaller quality USDA or NC State certified processors. Our animals are processed per our direction and each cut comes labeled and individually vacuum packed and frozen.
Delivery: We may have what you want in stock or we can let you know timing of availability. Depending on your location we may be able to deliver, meet you, or you can pick it up at the farm.
Bulk Beef Buying Directly From Us
We sell half, and whole cows direct to the public. Go in with extended family or a group of friends in your neighborhood and share a side of beef. The cost will be much less, and there are many options as far as cuts, amounts of ground beef, etc. Contact us for more information – (214) 538-3914.
We sell our whole cows for $8.35/lb and 1/2 cow for $8.85 hanging weight, which means the weight of the carcass. They are processed, packaged in individual cuts and frozen at the processor. It is available for pick up at the processor or our farm. Please be aware that amounts will vary and bulk beef is not available at all times. Below is an example of the break down:
This heifer weighed 1080 live weight and hung 596 on the rail. The total cost for the whole cow would be $4,977.
In this example, a 1/2 cow would be 298 lbs and $2,637.
In a bulk beef purchase there are also soup bones, marrow bones, and organ meats – kidneys, liver, heart and tongue. Many customers do not take these, so they are not included in the list above. But every cow has them, so if you’d like them they are included in your purchase! We are happy to give you recipe ideas to utilize these incredibly nutritious items!!

Tom Henslee is raising New Zealand Red Devon cows, one of our favorite breeds, the right way. This is immediately apparent in the quality of the meat that comes from his cows.
