Little Kids Farm Tour
Great for younger children that want hands on experience with animals
Service Description
Join me on a beautiful piece of land in the Piedmont area of North Carolina. Young children can experience and learn where their food comes from while moving around in a beautiful natural setting with animals, forests, pastures, ponds, and rivers. On this tour you will see the cow herd and chickens. Usually, the lead cow will agree to a little petting. You will feed and pet the chickens, walk through the barn and see the equipment used on the farm. Depending on where the cows are there will be some walking. We also share the bigger picture information on how nature is connected and humans connection to that. The tour is less about the details of what we do on the farm and more about seeing animals and interacting with nature with a quick tour of farm. This experience is great for families with young children. It is about interactive experiences and movement in nature for those that might have shorter attention spans.
